This is what we do and you can buy from us

We are the biggest parish church on Alston Moor, with a wonderful historic churchyard. Fascinating memorials, some of them hundreds of years old. Can you find the Cobblers Epitaph? Lots of interesting wildlife too, if you keep your eyes open!

How we are keeping the church safe.

In the churchyard - be sensible!

In church, we are following all the recommended guidelines. Hand gel is provided, seats are 2 metres apart, a one way system is in place and we ask you to leave contact details for track and trace purposes.

For private prayer on Wednesday afternoons, up to six people can be accommodated.

For Sunday Holy Communion, when we have welcomers on duty, we can accommodate a greater number - it is helpful if you phone (382558) or email (vicar@alstonmoorcofe.org.uk) to let us know you are coming.

What we expect from you.

In the churchyard, be considerate of other visitors and keep your distance. In church, observe the notices, follow the one way system, use the designated chairs and keep your distance from others especially if lighting a candle.
