At an emergency meeting on Monday 28 April, Alston Moor Parish Council unanimously adopted fourteen resolutions formally setting out its position. The resolutions ratify the Council's opposition to closure on the terms currently proposed, authorise correspondence with statutory bodies, establish a Grisedale Croft Working Group, and provide for a petition, public meetings in Alston, Garrigill, and Nenthead, and the seeking of preliminary legal advice.
The resolutions and the public statement issued the following day are being uploaded to the Vault and will be available here in due course.
