Alston Moor Parish Council invites everyone to a public meeting at Alston Town Hall on Thursday 16 July at 6pm, to talk about Westmorland and Furness Council's (WFC) proposal to close the home and what our community can do about it.
The consultation is open until 19 August, and every voice counts. Whether you have a family connection to Grisedale Croft, memories of the care given there, or simply care about older people being able to stay on the Moor among the people they know, please come. WFC has extended the consultation once already because the community asked the right questions — turning out in numbers on the 16th shows them we are still asking.
Doors open before 6pm. Bring a neighbour.
